orlaith mccarthy make-a-wishOrlaith joined the Make-A-Wish board in June 2013. She joined the board as she believes in the magic that makes wishes come true. After spending the last 30 years bringing up five daughters and working as a solicitor, she has a lot of energy and passion to bring to the Make-A-Wish board.

Orlaith works as a solicitor with ByrneWallace specialising in property and family law and all issues affecting private clients. She is trained in the developing practice of Collaborative Law and is an accredited mediator. She enjoys using mediation tactics to seek early resolution to family disputes of all types including those with a succession or commercial element.

In her spare time, Orlaith enjoys walking, socialising, playing non stressful golf, holidaying in the West of Ireland and spending as much time as possible with family and friends wherever they are. Her childhood wish was to be a ballerina like her mother.
