Irene joined Make-A-Wish in June 2012. She has an Honours degree in English and History and a Masters degree in History from NUI Maynooth. She previously worked for the Kelvingrove Refurbishment Appeal and University of Strathclyde in Glasgow. She also worked in UCD Foundation – helping to develop their regular giving campaign as well as the completion of the Campaign for Law.

Irene is an avid reader and is very enthusiastic about soccer, rugby and tennis. She enjoys going to music festivals, gigs and art galleries, but spends most of her time running around after her daughter.
