Background
Make-A-Wish Ireland grants the wishes of children aged between 3 and 17 years living with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. Since 1992, Make-A-Wish Ireland has granted wishes for more than 3,250 brave children across the country.
Make-A-Wish Ireland is hiring a Community Fundraising and Events Executive to join their team. This role will play a key role in our community fundraising programmes.

Key Responsibilities:
As the Community Fundraising and Events Executive, your key responsibilities will include:

Developing and executing community-driven fundraising campaigns aligned with Make-A-Wish Ireland’s fundraising strategy.

Oversee and project manage selected mass participation, challenge and digital events.

To assess and proactively steward registered participants as per their supporter journey. This could include undertaking welcome calls, sending supporter communications, providing ongoing fundraising support, following up non-payments, personalised thanking, and supporter surveys. This can be done across a range of channels including mail, email, and telephone, online and face to face.

Creating compelling content strategies encompassing videos, social media posts, and communication materials to enhance engagement and drive fundraising efforts within the community.

Ensuring proper data management, including CRM logging of fundraisers, efficient communication, and prompt acknowledgment of their contributions.

Recruit and coordinate volunteers for events.

Represent Make-A-Wish at donor meetings, conferences and events.

To produce high quality analysis reports for activities, including recommendations to inform and improve future fundraising.
Experience/Skills:
Your qualifications and skills should include:

1+ years’ fundraising/marketing experience

Relevant fundraising or marketing qualifications.
-
Experience collaborating with external agencies and basic IT skills.

Strong communication (written, verbal, and interpersonal), organizational, and administrative capabilities.

Enthusiastic, self-motivated, team-oriented, detail-oriented, flexible, and adaptable.

Robust, confident, ‘can-do’ attitude that thrives on challenges and remains calm under pressure.
