Make-A-Wish is delighted to have been chosen by the Woodie’s colleagues to partner for a third year and create memories that will last many lifetimes. Everyone in Woodie’s, from all the stores across the country to the support office in Dublin, will find creative and fun ways to fundraise in-store over four weeks in summer 2017. This will be complimented by two teams of cyclists who will travel over 1,500km between them during 5 days and will visit each of the Woodie’s 35 stores. Thank you Woodie’s Heroes! During this campaign, we celebrate all Heroes just like our brave wish children across Ireland who face each day with such remarkable bravery. We all know a hero. #woodiesheroes

Declan Ronayne, Chief Executive of Woodie’s who will lead the challenge says,
“We expect the cycle to push us to the limits of our ability. However, we are taking on the challenge to work together for a great cause to grant wishes to children living with life-threatening medical conditions. It’s a team effort to support the amazing charity Make-A-Wish and the children they serve. This will give us the determination to drive on during the tough moments I’m sure.”
