Croagh Patrick Climb in Memory of Oisín

This April, we granted Oisín’s wish to go to the aquarium in Galway. Oisín and his family were whisked off in a helicopter and enjoyed a day of entertainment and fun with his classmates in Galway.

Oisín passed away shortly after his wish was granted, having shown incredible bravery throughout his three-and-a-half year battle with cancer. On July 26th 2016, a group of family and friends climbed Croagh Patrick in memory of Oisín.

“If our muscles ache and our feet pain us, let’s try to remember not just Oisín but all the wonderful children who fought so hard for their short lives and left too soon. It will be a tough task for us but if Oisín could complete this task on this day in 2015, we can do it!” – Olga Kennedy, Oisín’s mum

We would like to say a huge thank you to Olga and the Kennedy family for organising this event in aid of Make-A-Wish Ireland. They raised an incredible €18,537 which will help us Make Memories that last many lifetimes for children battling life-threatening illnesses.
