Kids for Wish Kids Schools Entrepreneurship Awards 2016/17
The Kids for Wish Kids Schools Entrepreneurship Awards, sponsored by Intertrust, is designed to encourage students to develop their entrepreneurial skills, build their confidence and create a greater level of social enterprise. Students can take part by developing a mini-company, running an event or taking part in a challenge; and their project can involve an individual or group effort.
Applications for the 2016/17 Awards are now closed and the winners will announced soon.
Timeline & Application process:
1) Register here – the project can be carried out anytime from now until Monday 21st December 2017
2) Make-A-Wish will send you an application form that must be included with the completed outline of the project entry
3) Entries will be submitted to email@example.com by Wednesday 21st December
4) Entries will be then sent to our panel of judges and the winners will be invited to an exclusive awards ceremony in Dublin in February 2017. Part of the prize will be the prestigious Kids for Wish Kids Award for the school and professional references for the students to go on their future CV’s!
Entrants will be judged on:
a)Creativity / Entrepreneurship
b) Marketing / Communications
d) Funds Raised
Get Creative – Use your skill or talent to drum up ways to fundraise.
Get Physical – Ever wanted to take part in a fitness challenge? You could take part in a marathon, organise a walk, or even set a Guinness World Record attempt. Recordsetter.com list world records that have been attempted so why not see if there is one you can break?
Get Smart – Organise tutorials or cookery classes, or even invite guest speakers on topics of interest.
Get Arty – Design and sell a product in your local community or school. This can be anything from jewellery, personalised t-shirts, CD’s or the latest craze.
