Kids for Wish Kids Schools Entrepreneurship Awards 2017/18

The Kids for Wish Kids Schools Entrepreneurship Awards,  sponsored by Peter Mark and Intertrust, is designed to encourage students to develop their entrepreneurial skills, build their confidence and create a greater level of social enterprise. Students can take part by developing a mini-company, running an event or taking part in a challenge; and their project can involve an individual or group effort.


Application process:

1) Register here – the project can be carried out anytime from now until June and from September to December 2017
2) Make-A-Wish will send you an application form that must be included with the completed outline of the project entry
3) Entries should be submitted to Mary Quille: 
4) Entries will be then sent to our panel of judges and the winners will be invited to an exclusive awards ceremony in Dublin. Part of the prize will be the prestigious Kids for Wish Kids Award for the school and professional references for the students to go on their future CV’s!

 Entrants will be judged on: 

a)Creativity / Entrepreneurship
b) Marketing / Communications
c) Commerciality
d) Funds Raised

Fundraising Ideas:

Get Creative – Use your skill or talent to drum up ways to fundraise.

Get Physical – Ever wanted to take part in a fitness challenge? You could take part in a marathon, organise a walk, or even set a Guinness World Record attempt. list world records that have been attempted so why not see if there is one you can break?

Get Smart – Organise tutorials or cookery classes, or even invite guest speakers on topics of interest.

Get Arty – Design and sell a product in your local community or school. This can be anything from jewellery, personalised t-shirts, CD’s or the latest craze.
