Wish Day 2017

Wish Day

Thank you so much for supporting Wish Day 2017

A HUGE thank you to all our volunteers, schools, corporates and everyone who donated through text, bought a band and gave a warm smile of encouragement to our volunteers – you’ve all made such a difference!

Our volunteers all came together to grant wishes by selling bands on the streets, as well as hosting events in your communities and the workplace. Wish Day 2017 raised over €120,000. This year was a special one as it marked our 2,000th wish. We are so grateful to the hundreds of volunteers who signed up to raise money for the charity in their local area.

By donating on Wish Day, you play an essential part in creating positive memories for children battling life-threatening illnesses.

We look forward to welcoming you as part of our Wish Day team again next year on Friday 9th March 2018! Wish Day will be in it’s 6th year and the event has gone from strength to strength with thanks to Make-A-Wish volunteers and the generosity of the Irish public.
