It was a crisp winter’s evening, and twins Nora and Daithí were chilling for the evening, not much planned. All of a sudden, there came a mighty knock at the door with a background of magical bells. Daithí and dad were first to the door, and who was outside only the most famous man of the festive season in his red suit – yes, Santa!
Santa and his helper elf were welcomed with open arms by the lovely Nora and her extended family. Santa was lucky enough to meet not only mammy and daddy, but aunties, uncles and even grandmas and grandads too – what a gathering!
Nora and Daithí had an evening to remember, as the first children in the WORLD to receive their very special Christmas hampers and gifts from the big man himself – not to mention a few treats for mammy and daddy too!
Daithí got to ring Santa’s bell (yes the one you hear on Christmas eve throughout the land) and Nora got a great laugh out of watching her brother while Santa sat right beside her and mammy on the couch!
A magical night was had by all, and it’s said that if you listen closely over the skies of Dublin tonight, you can still hear the faint bells of Santa as he warms up for his flight back home to Lapland… oh, and the crunching of the apple that Daithí and Nora gave Santa as a treat for Rudolph!
Special thanks to Volunteer Peter & all those involved in the community for bringing the Christmas Magic to Nora & Family for our first Christmas wish this year.
