He is 15-years-old, and lives with a brain tumour, having undergone chemotherapy treatment in Crumlin Hospital.
When our volunteers Chidrupi and Noel met with Senan, they discovered that Senan has a passion for sports, and in particular the Irish Rugby team. Senan wished to go to an Irish Rugby game, and he wanted to make a special trip by staying overnight in a hotel with his family, and enjoying a hotel breakfast together the following day. His wish came true recently when the Irish rugby team welcomed Wales to the Aviva stadium during this years Six Nations.
Senan, along with his parents, sister Grace and brother Conor were picked up by Optimum Chauffeurs and whisked away to the Aviva Stadium for the game, where they saw a fascinating contest, with Ireland running out 27-17 winners. Afterwards, they stayed in a luxury family room at the faboulous Intercontinental Hotel in Ballsbridge, where they received VIP treatment.
Senan’s mum, Jacqueline, told us: “what made the day unforgettable for Senan was seeing it become just as special for Conor and Grace too. Every person we encountered couldn’t have been kinder.”
