Ania’s Wish

To go on a Princess Glamping trip

Ania (11) from county Meath is living with rhabdomyosarcoma, which is a type of cancer that affects the bones and tissues in the body.

Ania has many hobbies and interests, which include art, music, and animals. But Ania’s main interest is princesses – especially Princess Belle.

When Ania was given the opportunity to have her very own wish, she knew it had to be princess themed.

Ania wished for a princess-themed, glamping trip with her family. With the help of Rock Farm Slane and the staff at Slane Castle, we granted a magical glamping experience for Ania and her family, complete with pink wellies, tiaras, and s’mores by the campfire, and activities such as kayaking and a VIP art workshop. Ania’s mum told us that “Ania was really happy to get to spend some time feeling like a princess”. Ania’s glamping wish was certainly fit for a princess.

Thank you to everyone at Rockfarm Slane, Slane Castle and Creative Circle art school, in Drogheda, who helped make Ania’s wish come true!

Together we can make a difference for children.

Make-A-Wish Ireland has one simple aim – to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions, to bring hope, strength and happiness.

With your kind support, you can help us achieve that aim.
