Bogdan’s Wish

To have a VIP experience

Meet Bogdan, a chatty, energetic, domino’s pizza loving 14 year old from Dublin.

Bogdan is living with a rare neurological condition.

He loves to be the centre of attention and when volunteers Agata and Eimear met with him they knew his hotel stay wish would have to have a VIP element. The Wishgranters set about making Bogdan’s wish come true and worked together on surprise and delight elements with the wonderful team in the Newpark Hotel, Kilkenny.

The hotel had the red carpet laid out on the family’s arrival and each member of staff greeted Bogdan by name during his stay. He got to order room service and be waited on like a true VIP. During the stay Bogdan and family travelled in an exclusive car from the Hotel to Mountain view Christmas market where Bogdan and his brother Luca got a special meeting with the man in red.

Mam and Bogdan told us they had a really special time and Bogdan was made to feel like the VIP he is.

Special thanks to Newpark Hotel Kilkenny and The Limo Company!

Together we can make a difference for children.

Make-A-Wish Ireland has one simple aim – to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions, to bring hope, strength and happiness.

With your kind support, you can help us achieve that aim.
