Callum’s Wish

To have a gaming themed bedroom upgrade

Callum is a 13-year-old gamer from Co. Cork, who is living with epilepsy and Type 1 diabetes.

Callum spends a lot of time in his bedroom, playing video games, and gaming. Callum told Make-A-Wish that he loves “gaming and having fun with video games”.

When it was time for Callum to choose a wish from Make-A-Wish Ireland, he knew exactly what he would wish for – A gaming themed bedroom makeover. Having a gaming bedroom has long been a dream of Callum’s and he has watched many gaming bedroom makeover videos on YouTube, which help inspire his vision and the design of his new bedroom.

Callum’s new bedroom has been decked out with new furniture, a new double bed with built in LED lights, blue and green painted walls (which are Callum’s favourite colours), a Minecraft gaming chair, as well as loads of gaming accessories and goodies.

Callum was delighted with his new gaming room. Happy gaming in your new room, Callum!

Thank you to everyone who helped us grant Callum’s wish – Make-A-Wish volunteer Louise; Breda, Callum’s nurse who told him about Make-A-Wish; Midleton Skip Hire; Factory Carpets Cork; Trust Gaming; and Secret Lab gaming chairs.

Together we can make a difference for children.

Make-A-Wish Ireland has one simple aim – to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions, to bring hope, strength and happiness.

With your kind support, you can help us achieve that aim.
