Dylan’s Wish

A family trip to Center Parcs

Meet Dylan (5) who was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma and has completed chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatment.

Dylan had lots of ideas for his wish and after talking to our Make-A-Wish volunteers he wished for a trip to Center Parcs.

Dylan had visited Center Parcs before with his family, but he had missed out on some activities such as swimming to undergoing treatment. The Wishgranting team booked a lodge for Dylan’s family to go to Center Parcs at Easter, and organized activities for all the family to take part in, making sure there was lots of time to relax and enjoy the pool too.

Dylan and his family took part in many activities including an Easter Forest Discovery Trail, Teddy Bear making, Pottery Painting, and Chocolate Egg Decorating while they were away on Dylan’s wish.

Together we can make a difference for children.

Make-A-Wish Ireland has one simple aim – to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions, to bring hope, strength and happiness.

With your kind support, you can help us achieve that aim.
