Before Eve was diagnosed with Ewings Sarcoma she and her family were due to visit Fota wildlife park, but they had to cancel. Her greatest wish was to go there so she could get close to the animals she loves so much.
In February Eve and her family, including big brother Josh who got time off from an intense college course so he could attend, travelled from Meath to Fota island resort in Cork. There was great excitement as they drove the short distance then to the wildlife park. Head ranger Willie Duffy took Eve and her family into the park for their VIP tour. Dressed in a leopard onesie and clutching her Fuji Instax camera Eve’s wish came true and she got to get up close with the animals and even managed time for ice cream. Eve’s mam Yvonne said Eve loved every single minute of it.
A huge thanks to Fota wildlife park for their hospitality and Sarah Kate Murphy for being there to capture the day.
