Lauren’s Wish

To Have an iPad

Meet Lauren from Limerick. Lauren is living with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia and is currently on active treatment.

When it came to picking a wish, Lauren thought about what she would like and wished for an Apple iPad Air. Lauren completed her leaving cert this year and is hoping to go to college in September to continue her studies. She knew that having an Apple iPad would be super beneficial, and lots of fun.

Lauren is a big music fan and has been to many concerts over the past few months with more scheduled over the summer. The newest release AirPods-Max were part of Lauren’s wish experience meaning she can continue to listen to her favourite music in style, even after the concerts.

Our Wish granters worked together with Lauren to get the right colour and size for her Apple iPad and AirPods Max. Once everything was arranged, our volunteer Marney made the all-important wish delivery to Lauren, where even the dogs were excited to get involved with granting this wish.

We’re thrilled to have made Lauren’s wish come true.

Together we can make a difference for children.

Make-A-Wish Ireland has one simple aim – to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions, to bring hope, strength and happiness.

With your kind support, you can help us achieve that aim.
