11:11
On November 11th, at 11:11, you can make a wish, and grant one too!
We are delighted to launch the Make-A-Wish Ireland 11:11 campaign, promoting the hope and aspiration we feel when making a wish at 11:11, and that our wish children feel when they apply for their wish.
The time 11:11, across cultures, has held a deeper significance and meaning. It has become a time when people silently make wishes. According to astrologer Sharma, the planetary alignment energies around 11:11 can amplify intention, making it a popular time for people to silently make wishes or set intentions.
Across Ireland, historic town clocks have been set to 11:11 as a reminder to make — and give — a wish. At 11:11 on the 11th of November, people all over Ireland are invited to stop, make a wish, and help grant one for a child living with a critical illness.
We all say ‘Make A Wish’ when we see 11:11 , this year, you can help to grant one too!
With your generous support we can make the dreams of critically ill children come true.

About Make-A-Wish Ireland
Make-A-Wish Ireland has one simple aim – to grant the wishes of children living with critical illnesses, bringing hope, strength and happiness to families and communities. Since 1992, we have granted wishes for more than 3,500 brave children across Ireland, including 214 wishes granted in 2024 alone.
A wish granted is a lasting, life-changing moment for our wish children, providing respite from their normal routines of hospitals, doctors and treatment, and inspiring hope and resilience. Make-A-Wish Ireland does not receive any government funding and relies overwhelmingly on the kindness of the Irish public to continue granting wishes.
