Lillie-Anne’s Wish

To have my own grooming equipment

Lillie-Anne has one great love and that is animals. She lives in Co. Meath and at 13 was diagnosed with the rare disorder Ataxia-telangiectasia.

When Lillie-Anne had her wish visit with Make-A-Wish volunteers Martina and Cheryl she only had one vision for her wish – to be able to groom her dog Lady and her pet Guinea pigs. Her wish was to own her own grooming equipment.

With thanks to Mullinahone Co-op Lillie-Anne’s grooming space was kitted out with all the equipment Lillie-Anne would need to groom her pets. The families regular pet groomer Sarah took the time to show Lillie-Anne all the proper grooming techniques she would need, and she is now happily grooming her pets herself.

We wish Lillie-Anne, and her pets, much happiness with their grooming.

Thanks to Scrummy Mummy cakes for supplying the cupcakes to celebrate the wish!

Together we can make a difference for children.

Make-A-Wish Ireland has one simple aim – to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions, to bring hope, strength and happiness.

With your kind support, you can help us achieve that aim.
