Olivia’s Wish

To have a princess themed bedroom makeover

Olivia aged 5 from Sligo is living with Wilms tumour, a form of childhood cancer.

We were delighted to recently grant Olivia’s wish to have her own princess-themed bedroom with pink walls.

Olivia’s new bedroom is now her own unique and special sanctuary, where she spends her time dancing, singing, and playing with her princess and Disney toys. Olivia’s family told us, “Olivia is a very happy wee girl. She told all her friends and her teacher about her beautiful princess room. She now spends all her time in it, singing and dancing”.

We would like to say a special thank you to our friends, who helped to grant Olivia’s wish: Padraig O’Gara Painter & Decorator, Castle Davitt Furniture, Artist Eva Byrne for the beautiful print, Chadwicks Sligo, and Donal Harte Carpentry.

Together we can make a difference for children.

Make-A-Wish Ireland has one simple aim – to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions, to bring hope, strength and happiness.

With your kind support, you can help us achieve that aim.
