Gillian joins Make-A-Wish Ireland with 30 years’ experience in journalism and broadcasting, including 17 years as Head of News and Sport at Limerick’s Live95. Based in Limerick, she brings extensive experience in storytelling, team leadership and building relationships with local communities.
In her role as Munster Regional Manager, Gillian will work with volunteers, businesses and community groups across the six counties of Munster to raise awareness, develop support and help make wishes possible for children living with critical illnesses across the region.
“Throughout my career, I’ve seen what communities can achieve when people come together. I’m looking forward to building on that generosity across Munster and helping more people get involved with Make-A-Wish. The opportunity to use my experience to help bring joy to children and their families is what makes this role so special.”
