Fundraising Executive

Molly has a degree in marketing practise from UCD Smurfit, and comes to us following an account executive role at Her Sport, helping to promote women in sports. Molly is passionate about her role in Make-A-Wish Ireland, as she gets to play a small part in making children smile!

We caught up with Molly recently to talk about her experience at Make-A-Wish Ireland.

“Wishes have the power to create true joy and happiness for a child who is going through something no child should ever go through. Critical illness robs a child of their childhood, play dates are replaced by hospital visits and treatment, and normalcy is taken away.

Wishes help to bring moments of magic to a child and their family, allow them respite from what they are going through, and to just be a child again. The memories created by a wish stay with the family forever and is something they can all look back on when times are tough. I think this is what makes them so important, it is not just something to make them smile in the moment, but for many more moments in the future, the afterglow as we like to call it, means everything.”

Thank you for your commitment to making wishes come true for critically-ill children across Ireland Molly!
